Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Overview

The Farm Vault ("Service") is a web-based farm and ranch asset management and insurance tracking platform operated by Doc Home Improvements, LLC ("Company," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you ("User," "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

2. Important Disclaimer — Not an Insurance Provider

THE FARM VAULT IS NOT AN INSURANCE COMPANY, INSURANCE BROKER, OR INSURANCE AGENT.

The Service is a record-keeping and asset management tool. It does not sell, underwrite, bind, or provide insurance coverage of any kind. The Service does not provide insurance advice, coverage recommendations, or risk assessments. Information presented through the Service, including AI-generated responses, is for organizational and informational purposes only. Always consult a licensed insurance professional for coverage decisions.

3. AI Coverage Advisor Disclaimer

The Farm Vault includes an AI-powered feature ("Coverage Advisor") that analyzes uploaded policy documents and answers questions about your coverage. AI responses:

  • May contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
  • Do not constitute legal, financial, or insurance advice
  • Should not be relied upon as a definitive determination of coverage
  • Do not replace the judgment of a licensed insurance agent or attorney

You acknowledge that the Company is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated information. Always verify coverage details with your insurance carrier or licensed agent before making decisions.

4. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the Service, including but not limited to asset descriptions, valuations, policy numbers, coverage amounts, and other insurance-related information. The Company does not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any user-entered data.

Renewal summaries, asset reports, and other outputs generated by the Service reflect user-entered data and may not correspond to actual policy terms. Recipients of shared renewal links or reports should independently verify all information with the issuing insurance carrier.

6. Subscription Plans & Payment

The Service offers the following plans:

  • Free Client Plan — Available to existing insurance clients of the Company at no charge, assigned at the Company's discretion.
  • Professional Plan ($49/month) — Billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal.
  • On-Site Setup ($750 one-time) — Optional in-person asset cataloging service, billed separately.

Refunds for the Professional Plan are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss. The Company reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

7. On-Site Setup Services

The On-Site Setup service includes visiting your property to photograph and catalog assets into the Service. This service does not include insurance advice, coverage recommendations, policy review, or risk assessment. The Company is not liable for any assets that are missed, incorrectly cataloged, or whose values are inaccurately recorded during the setup process.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF INSURANCE COVERAGE, UNINSURED LOSSES, CLAIM DENIALS, OR FINANCIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

  • Reliance on information provided by the Service or AI features
  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data entered by users
  • Failure to add, update, or remove assets from the Service
  • Technical failures, data loss, or service interruptions
  • Errors in AI-generated coverage analysis

The Company's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. You may request data export before termination by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
